Unboxing the Podcast
Ian, Kirk, and Steve begin the first episode of the season with a rundown of the segments of the show that listeners can look forward to each week. On this episode, the hosts get into our current games they’re playing, a round table discussion about the upcoming Avengers movie, and the Epic Game Store debacle that has the Gaming community annoyed and confused. Join the Game Over crew as we take a dive into Gaming today.
The long awaited premier of, “Game Over” presented by Whatever You Say Productions is finally here! Get to know more about Ian, Kirk, and Steve in their first segment, “Patch Notes.” They jump right in discussing Borderlands 3 and its September 13th release date. You can’t discuss Borderlands 3 without talking about the exclusive deal with the Epic Game Store for PC players and the guys have plenty to say about that! From there, they transition into the next segment, “Press X to Start,” where they get into what games they’re currently playing. First up, Steve tells us about Tom Clancy’s Division 2 for PlayStation 4. From customization, to shooting style, he gives us the quick rundown. Next up, Kirk tells us all about Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice on PC with an XBOX 360 controller. He fills us in on gameplay and how it compares to the studio’s other hit game, Dark Souls. Finally, Ian gives us the lowdown on why he keeps coming back to Fortnite on Playstation 4 and how badly he wants a PC so he can get into PC gaming again.
The gentlemen wrap things up with their final segment, “Free For All” where they open the floor up to discussion. This week we start out with a shout out to the “n00bswithb00bs” girls and their fantastic Fortnite skills versus Ian’s self proclaimed “”superior” Fortnite skills. You’ll get to know the girls as a featured segment on the show but for now, you can check them out on YouTube. Things take a turn to movies with discussion of, “Avengers End Game” which comes out April 26th. Ian, Kirk, and Steve all share their thoughts on the Avengers universe and their preferred movies in the series. All in all, the guys have a great first episode of, “Game Over” and we can’t wait to see what they have in store!
