Princess Diamond Sparkle Rainbow
This week we have our host Kirk joined by a brand new co-host with a brand new segment. HER name is Sarah and the new segment is, “Sarah Says” which will be all about what’s pissing gamers off, how those issues can be fixed, and just how Sarah feels about the subjects. We start things of with a brief introduction to Sarah and then get into her segment where she discusses Anthem. Next up Sarah and Kirk go back and forth about Borderlands 3 and their live gameplay event in, Patch Notes”. We wrap things up with Samantha coming in to “Free For All” ask Sarah some more personal games and ask both hosts about video game terms.
To start the episode off we jump right into, “Sarah Says” and this week she’s got a lot to say about Anthem. First we get a brief overview of the game and then she gets right into it with what players are hating in, some say, a dead game. From long loading screens, to loot drop rate issues, to server problems this game certainly has a way to go. BUT, according to Sarah the sights, flight mechanics, actual gameplay, and story make up for that. Give us your opinion on Anthem!
Next we get into, “Patch Notes.” This week Sarah and Kirk discuss the live gameplay live stream event that Borderlands 3 held on May 1st. They dive into the differences and similarities between Borderlands 3 and the other games in the series, hint, this game is A LOT bigger. Then they get into changes to the loot system such as loot instancy, which is where different players get different loot when playing with others. All in all this game sounds amazing!
We end things with, “Free For All” and have our producer Samantha join us for some insider questions. For instance, “What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?” Well, for Sarah, she wanted to change her name to Sparkle Heart Diamond Princess as a child! After chatting like the old friends they are, Sarah and Samantha welcome back Kirk into the conversation for some video game definitions. We get into first and third person shooters and their differences and why there are so many server issues in so many games. You don’t want to miss this brand new episode of, “Game Over”
