French Style Apple Tart


  • 5-6 Apples (Any kind you like, and you can mix and match kinds)

  • Sugar

  • Cinnamon

  • 1/4-1/2 cup Apple Cider

  • 1 pre-made pie dough

  • 1/4 cup Apricot Jam


  • Pre-Heat over to 350

  • Roll out pie dough and place in tart shell and gently press in

  • Cut off excess pie dough

  • Bake in oven for 15 minutes

  • Peel and cut up 2-4 apples into chunks

  • Cook in a sauce pan with the cider on medium heat until soft and can be mushed

  • Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar in and combine, until you like the taste

  • Spread on bottom of crust, cook more apple if you don't have an even layer across the bottom

  • Thinly slice (1/8-1/4 inch) 2 apples

  • Arrange on top of the tart slightly overlapping

  • Warm up Apricot Jam in microwave

  • Brush on the top of the tart

  • Bake for another 20 minutes until apples are fully cooked


Spritz Cookies



  • 1.5 cups of margarine or butter

  • 3.5 cups of all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla



  • Preheat oven to 375*F

  • Beat butter with an electric mixer on medium high speed for 30 seconds. 

  • Add 1 cup of flour, the sugar, egg, baking powder, and vanilla. 

  • Beat till thoroughly combined

  • Force unchilled dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased cookie sheet.

  • Sprinkle with festive sprinkles.

  • Bake for 8-10 minutes or till edges are firm but not brown

  • Cool on a wire rack
